Naoya Inoue — "The Monster" — is a Japanese professional boxer born April 10, 1993, in Zama, Kanagawa. Per Wikipedia, he has held multiple world championships in four weight classes and is one of only three male boxers to become undisputed champion in two weight classes in the four-belt era, alongside Terence Crawford and Oleksandr Usyk. He is widely regarded as the greatest Japanese boxer of all time.
Inoue won the WBC light flyweight title in just his sixth pro fight in 2014, then the WBO junior bantamweight title from 2014 to 2018. He became the first undisputed bantamweight champion since Enrique Pinder in 1972 — and the first ever in the four-belt era — in 2022, and since 2023 he has held all four major titles plus The Ring title at super bantamweight, where he is the first and only undisputed champion in the division's history.
